you and me are we

Afternoon trip to National Gallery of Denmark (Statens Museum for Kunst, Sølvgade 48-50). The entrance is for free (except of temporary exhibitions) and they have amazing collection of contemporary art. Specifically sort of performance video from 1995 with two women and  ten onions. This museum was a pleasure, food for my eyes and soul. I needed that. Enjoyed this day a lot <3

i woke up with your name on my lips

Art exhibition, friday in Copenhagen & saturday morning at fleamarket. On Sunday I had great breakfast with guys from Stockholm that were staying at my place via couchsurfing and after that spent evening in Christiania with my dear czech friend. We drank, talked and listened cool live music. it was really nice weekend. Now I should be preparing some texts to my class but instead of that I made myself delicious breakfast, coffee and I listen the great morning dose of happines, fluxfm radio. Procrastination is a bitch but it can be sweet sometimes.

this is our music/this is our art

Opening on Friday, David Risley Gallery, Copenhagen. It was superfun, great great concept. There was like 100 people participating this project. Divided into two groups. Musicians and Artists. And for this exhibition they kind of switched the roles, Musicians had to do an art piece and artists had to compose a music track. There was also some live music going on as you can see in the first picture. I was completely amazed. The music was expressive and so powerful that I felt like I was part of a different universe for a sec. It was hard for me to believe they were not actually musicians. So Friday was really cool. I had fun. And some free beer too. What about your friday/weekend?

Vernisáž v pátek v David Risley Gallery v Kodani. Bylo to parádní, super super koncept. Projektu se účastnilo asi sto lidí, umělci a hudebníci. Umělci měli za úkol složit nějakou hudební skladbu, dílo... A naopak hudebníci měli udělat nějaké dílo výtvarné. A pivo zadarmo . Co váš pátek/víkend?

Copenhagen exhibition: Nålen

Very first exhibition I visited in Copenhagen. My friend canceled but I decided to go there anyway. I met cool people and had really inspirative converstation with one guy. Video abstract art and some prints. All in black and white accompanied by expressive inexplicite sound. // my second dumpster diving experience. This time in Copenhagen. I found really amazing stuff and realized that I just cannot agree with this kind of waste

Amazing view.

That is something I've experienced for so many times in America. These pictures are from Denver, Colorado. First one shows amazing view on Rocky mountains, second one is exactly from Rocky mountains, place called Red Rocks. It is amazing place, actually the amphitheater, the highest placed one in the world. Unfortunately we didnt stay for any of the shows, but Bruno Mars was concerting there the other day. Must be amazing experience because as I heard, the natural acoustics  is just amazing. The third picture is a view from Denver Art museum, which you can also see in the fourth one. It was another amazing experience, this whole museum is so huge that I could easily spend the whole day there. It has the old and the new, modern part, which probably acttracted me more. I visited great exhibition of Nick Cave and another breathtaking exhibitions, the permanent ones. I had great guides. Woman whitch czech origins, art expert, and her daughter, the artist. I really enjoyed the discussion we had. It only showed me that each of us have its own point of view on... actually anything. The whole world. And its just so inspirative to hear the other one than your own. To share it.
